We've all been there and we've all not been there when we wanted to be. That fitness zone you need to get your head into to make sure you make the best of the training session that is lying ahead. If you are training for a longer period of time and you are getting to know your body better your training sessions are also starting to reach a higher level. One of the biggest challenges that lies ahead when you need to make that next level training session the worth while is to get yourself into that fitness head zone.
This is not always so easy to get yourself there and sometimes it takes more effort to achieve this. There are a lot of things that makes it difficult and to stay positive. You could have had a really bad work day and you are just that emotionally drained.. and to get the mindset and energy to kick ass in that training session is going to be a struggle. Have you ever heard when people say the body goes where the mind goes... and believe me when I say this is very true. Most of the time we underestimate the strength of our own body's and when we think we can't go no more our body's can still be pushes. This is exactly the thing... we think we can't and by thinking this we are creating a fitness zone block. Getting yourself into that fitness zone starts with your mind and ends with your mind.
You need to take a break and sit down wherever you are and think and visualise the task that needs to be done. You have to try to separate yourself from the day's troubles and and people that will definitely distract you from what lies ahead. If you are going to have your phone with you to put some pumping music on then do it but don't go on social media just for that hour or two. I've made that mistake many many times and before I know it my training time is up and I did not reach that training intensity I wanted to because my attention was distracted. If you want to take a few selfies that you want to put on social media it's fine but rather do it after your training session.
Some people never reach that next level fitness training zone because they allow outside things to distract their attention but for those that do get it right to get into that fitness zone realises the importance of achieving this and will never have it any other way. That positive, strong and energetic atmosphere you create when you are in that zone is almost like a drug that you always want to use while training.
Next time when planning your training session make sure you just take a few minutes to think and visualise what needs to happen now and make sure you focus only on the training session. In that one or two hour that you are training you are not going to change the word outside training so rather take that time that you have set out for your training session and make the best of it. Your results in the gym will definitely also be determined with the mind set and zone you complete your training session with.
